APW - Hamilton, Grade 950, 23J, 16S, heavy 14K gold OF original Hamilton case, gold cuvette with signature ring, white enamel DS dial, SW-SS, fully capped lever escapement, jeweled barrel arbor, striped pattern nickel damascene, s#1020323. Comes as pictured with its original fitted wooden box which contains certificate bearing movement and case serial numbers correctly matched to the present watch. Gross weight of assembled watch 66.2 dwt (102.9 g). A superb gold cased example of this top quality grade, complete with its rarely seen original box and certificate.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, plates with some typical small micro-fine scratches, winding wheels with few small specks of oxide; virtually flawless dial with some mild micro-fine scratches; nearly mint hands; case shows very little wear, no dents or dings, good engine turning detail; tight bow, crown shows very light wear; good glass crystal; box in excellent cosmetic condition overall, few mild marks to exterior, interior fabric with some wear.
